Little is known about the remains of this windmill, photographed at Bookabie, South Australia in 2003. It is thought to be a direct action, sectional wheel windmill, possibly vaneless. There are no discernible markings on the hub, or indication of the country of manufacture. The spokes are possibly made from metal, however it is very likely that the fan blades were wooden. |
